Spicy Grapefruit Low-Sugar Margarita

A low-sugar refreshing take on a margarita with grapefruit, lime and a touch of heat from jalapeños.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.52 oz 100% agave, blanco/silver tequila (I recommend going with the 2 oz for a stronger drink)
  • 2.5 oz of grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice (1 fluid oz is 2 tablespoons)
  • 12 slices of jalapeño
  • 12 tsp agave (optional if you really prefer a sweeter drink)

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker or mason jar, add all of the ingredients including one slice of jalapeño. Top with ice. Shake vigorously.
  • Strain the mixture into your glass and garnish with a lime slice and additional slice of jalapeño.
